If you are concerned about your safety culture and worry about the behaviours that your teams adopt I can assist.

Over 30 years experience in manufacturing industry and more recently as Head of EHS Consultancy at EEF/Make UK I have seen first hand that 'good' EHS leadership is the main driver of safe behaviour and cultural improvement - but what does this look like and how is it done?

I am an experienced manager with a well-rounded background in production, logistics and consultancy. I am fully conversant with the manufacturing environment with consultancy and training experience in chemical processing, food and drink manufacturing, aircraft maintenance and shipping (ports).

As a result I have a broad technical understanding of the requirements of modern H&S implementation and a full understanding of UK Health & Safety law and compliance requirements.

Add to this my knowledge and understanding of how to move beyond compliance to improve culture to drive performance and my services could help to make a real difference.

I take pride in being able to design innovative, workable solutions to difficult problems taking care to engage effectively and collaborate at all levels. I champion consultation and communication as a way of creating involvement and commitment, demonstrating well developed interpersonal management skills developed from leading multidisciplinary teams throughout my career.
